Driver crashes into telephone pole, Solvay High School softball fields during car chase

Solvay, N.Y. — Two men were arrested this week after they fled from officers in a vehicle and crashed into Solvay High School’s softball field, troopers said.Around 10:10 p.m. Monday, troopers attempted to pull over a vehicle driving west on West Genesee Street with a headlight not working, said Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the State Police.
