Two arrested, third wanted in New Orleans East murder case

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two people have been arrested with a third wanted in connection to a murder that took place in New Orleans East on New Year's Eve, 2024.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the suspects allegedly committed an armed robbery at a business in the 4600 block of Alcee Fortier Boulevard.
Investigators say that during the robbery, a store employee, identified as Thanh Vu, was reportedly shot by the suspects. She was then taken to a hospital by New Orleans Emergency Services, where she later died on Jan. 3.

The suspects have been identified as:
24-year-old Nathanial K. Carpenter, arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center, charged with "violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14: 30.1 relative to second-degree murder."
27-year-old Adrian Harris, arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center, charged with "violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14: 30.1 relative to principal to second-degree murder."
25-year-old Anjanau "Henny" Davis, still at large and wanted for "violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14: 30.1 relative to second-degree murder."
