Inouye International Airport for a training flight to Lanai Airport. According to the report, the Cessna 208B had problems immediately after take-off. Instead of turning right as planned, the plane took a shallow left turn and crashed into an abandoned building off Aolele Street, less than a mile from the runway. The report added the plane was just refueled for the training flight and most of the wreckage was incinerated in the fire after the crash. Plane pieces were found around the entire building. The outboard portions of the left wing were found on the roof of the building, while the fuselage and both wings were located in the parking lot south of the building. NTSB officials kept what they could, including parts of the flight control system and the engine core to continue its investigation.
