Schools in Lincoln County move to nontraditional learning on Jan. 9

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – All schools in Lincoln County will be non-traditional learning on Thu. Jan. 9, 2025 due to poor road conditions.
Employees will report two hours late. Custodians will report at 7 AM to open buildings and clear walkways. Essential employees should report by 9 AM.
The winter storm is expected to bring a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain to the region beginning Friday and lasting through Saturday morning.
Winter storm warnings have issued for both North Carolina and South Carolina.
