NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston detectives are investigating a shooting that stemmed from an attempted robbery Wednesday evening. Officers responded to Oakleaf Drive and Ebony Court around 5:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. An initial investigation revealed two suspects held a victim at gunpoint in a robbery attempt, according to Harve Jacobs, spokesman for the North Charleston Police Department. One suspect ended up shooting the victim in the leg and arm, police said. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
