ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Girl Scout Cookie season is here! The Girl Scouts of Western New York have announced their Girl Scout Cookie season and summer camp registration. Favorites such as Thin Mints, and Caramel deLites are back this year, but two beloved cookie flavors, Girl Scout S’more and Toast-Yay, will retire after this season. You can purchase yourself some cookies for $6 a package. By purchasing these cookies, customers are lending support to these young entrepreneurs as they work on several skills such as strengthening their team-building talents and get firsthand experience learning financial management. The program runs from January 8 through March 30, and Girl Scout entrepreneurs will be taking orders in person and online through personalized websites.
