Man will spend less than a year in jail for deadly Wheatland crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man who was convicted of a deadly crash in Wheatland will be spending less than a year in jail.
Nicholas Findley-Wolff, 21, will be serving 364 days in the Monroe County Jail for a car crash that killed 70-year-old Ken Soderlund in November 2023.
Soderlund was driving north on Scottsville Road when Findley-Wolff was driving his Jeep in the other direction. Deputies said Findley-Wolff entered the northbound lane and crashed into Soderlund's vehicle.
Soderlund and Findley-Wolff were hospitalized with injuries. Soderlund was in critical condition and later died at the hospital.
Findley-Wolff was charged with criminally negligent homicide. The Monroe County DA's Office said he pleaded guilty to the charge.
