ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) - This week's Wednesday Primetime 585 Shining Star puts the spotlight on Amiyah Miles, a 9th-grade student at Hilton High School! Provided: Primetime 585 Miles made the High Honor Roll with a 92% overall grade! She plays JV basketball and has left an impressive mark on her team this season. Miles averaged 22 points per game through her first six games, with a standout performance of scoring 40 points—a JV school record! She also grabbed 12 rebounds in a single game. Beyond her academic and athletic achievements, Amiyah is dedicated to giving back to her community. She has volunteered with the Greece Basketball Association (GBA), RS Made Hoops, and Rochester Family Mission, where she helped pack and distribute food baskets to those in need.
