These San Diego County areas recorded the highest wind Wednesday

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A Red Flag Warning went into effect at 4 a.m. Wednesday for portions of San Diego County as Santa Ana winds began to peak. The National Weather Service issues this type of warning when conditions are expected to create an increased risk for fire danger.
San Diego’s inland valleys, mountains and deserts along the eastern mountain slopes are expected to experience wind speeds anywhere from 25 to 35 mph with individual gusts of up to 55 mph during this Santa Ana event.

The National Service released a Wind Gust Report at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, showing which areas in the region have felt the highest winds since Tuesday evening. Here's a breakdown of those numbers:

The Red Flag Warning will remain in place until 6 p.m. Thursday, though another round of Santa Ana winds is expected to closely follow. This could prompt an extended warning.
