WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- It's been nearly a month since 48-year-old Christian Zelenka was struck and killed by a vehicle in southeast Wichita.
Police are hoping someone will come forward with information about the hit-and-run crash that took his life. It happened on Wednesday, Dec. 11, around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Washington and Mount Vernon Street.
Wichita police say Zelenka was trying to cross the street when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police indicated initially that a gray or silver sedan had struck him that left westbound on Mt. Vernon. The case remains unsolved.
Police ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who may have information about the case to call Detective McCluskey at 316-350-3685 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
