CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has reported that the roadway has been reduced to a single lane on I-90 westbound at mile marker 47.2 in Chicopee due to a vehicle crash. At around 4:18 p.m., Massachusetts State Police received a report of a single rollover vehicle crash in Chicopee. Upon arrival, the state troopers were assisted by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and Chicopee Emergency Medical Services. The driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle and brought to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. The left lane on I-90 westbound was briefly closed, but has since reopened. The right lane will be closed until further notice.
