BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in a targeted operation addressing concerns of human trafficking and prostitution. On Saturday, deputies saw two females "nearly nude" get out of a vehicle with a Florida license plate near Chama and Central NE, according to court documents. The females, who had left the vehicle before the stop, were also interviewed, leading deputies to suspect they were victims of trafficking. Draper, 21, was charged with promoting prostitution. He, the women, and the rental vehicle were all linked to the Fresno/Clovis area in California, BCSO stated in a news release.
