HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- For residents without water during this ongoing water crisis, Hanover County has announced there are two showering sites where people can take care of their hygiene needs. According to a Facebook post from Hanover County, the following sites will be open on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., for residents without water to take showers: Liberty Middle School -- 13496 Liberty School Road If you have an address that ends in an even number, go to the Liberty Middle School site Access the site by the gym and park in the lot near Poor Farm Park. Patrick Henry High School -- 12449 W. Patrick Henry Road If you have an address that ends in an odd number, go to the Patrick Henry High School site. Access the site by the student parking lot near the tennis courts. Showers will open in 10-minute increments. Before you go, remember to bring your own hygiene products, towel and spare clothes. Earlier today, county officials said residents located east of Interstate 95 may begin to see water coming back into the system on Wednesday but are still under a boil water advisory and should conserve water. Residents located west of I-95 in the Ashland area are not under a boil water advisory, but officials ask these residents to conserve water.
