MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police need your help locating the suspects responsible for a series of possibly gang-related shootings. Police say a white older model Toyota Camry is at the center of a string of shootings, placing more than a dozen people, including children, in harm's way.  Photo courtesy of the MPD MPD says the vehicle was involved in at least three shootings within a two-hour time frame Friday morning. According to MPD, threats made to one of the victims indicate that the suspects may be involved in a Latin street gang.  The first shooting happened in the 3500 block of Kendrick Avenue around 5 a.m. Police say two vehicles were shot at, but no one was hit. Around 6:12 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3600 block of Vivia Avenue just three minutes away. MPD says a home with seven people inside, including children, was shot multiple times. No one was injured in that shooting. Concerned neighbor Leon White says the street is usually peaceful. Corrections officer injured in Soulsville shooting "It's unbelievable. Why do they want to do this? Why?" White said. "I pray that they get their senses together and once in a while get a wake-up call because there's no sense to be out here shooting one another and hurting one another." Just 10 minutes later, officers responded to yet another shooting, this time at a duplex in the 1000 block of North Highland Street. Seven people, including two children, were home when the shooting happened, but no one was hurt.  Memphis Police say these incidents are not random. Two days after the shooting, police say one of the victims whose car was shot up on Kendrick Avenue presented disturbing information to officers. He reportedly received threatening text messages from an out-of-state phone number. 📡 See more breaking news, local news and weather from WREG.com for Memphis and the Mid-South. 📧 Sign up for WREG newsletters and have the latest top stories sent right to your inbox. The victim then went on to say the shootings at his home and the other two on Highland and Vivia may be connected, but the report doesn't say how. For now, those living in the neighborhoods of the targeted families say they will be on high alert.  "I don't want nobody to get hurt. I don't want the neighbor across the street to get hurt," said White. Police say no arrests have been made.  If you have any information that could help police, call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
