GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The two newest businesses in Green Bay's Broadway District celebrated their ribbon cuttings on Wednesday afternoon.
The businesses, Irish Temper and FiveThumbsUp were originally set to cut the ribbons in mid-December but were delayed by heavy snowfall.

Irish Temper is brand new to the area and is a partnership between Tony Wiltgen, the owner of Broadway District's White Dog and Garritt Bader. The newest pub in town is based on a traditional Irish pub.
"This is Garritt's brainchild," Wiltgen said. "I'm very honored that he decided to work with me."
Bader said when he was a kid, he joked with his brother about opening a bar.
"You never think that's reality, but here we are almost 40 years later," Bader said.
FiveThumbsUp relocated itself into the Broadway District, as the business was formerly inside the recently closed Cannery Test Kitchen.
Owner Jill Schultz continues to provide the beloved cheesecakes and cake pops, along with an expanded menu, and she expressed her excitement over the opening, talking about how she got her start.

"It's been a long road and it just feels good to finally be here," Schultz said. "I started out baking cheesecakes out of my home for family and friends, and they started asking me to buy them."
Both businesses are located at 240 North Broadway in Green Bay.
