Wisconsin man arrested for numerous crimes, fights with officers while being taken into custody

BELOIT, Wis. (WFRV) - A Wisconsin man was arrested for a string of crimes that reportedly started in early December of 2024.
According to the Beloit Police Department, 29-year-old Latres Robinson of Beloit was arrested for multiple incidents:
December 10 - Armed subject call with adult victims, charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, first-degree reckless endangerment by use of a weapon, felony weapon possession, felony battery and disorderly conduct
December 20 - Charges of kidnapping, felony battery and second-degree reckless endangerment
December 21 - Pursuit call of felony fleeing
January 7 & 8 - Resisting and obstructing officer with criminal property damage

The January 7-8 SWAT call was aided by the Rock County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team as well. According to the release, Robinson is known for fleeing.
On Tuesday, around 9:03 p.m., Robinson was reportedly seen entering a home, and crisis negotiators contacted him after confirming nobody else was inside the residence.

Robinson did not comply and fought as SWAT team members took him into custody around 1:44 a.m. on Wednesday.
