WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Two dogs died after they were reportedly electrocuted while walking on a sidewalk in Northwest D.C. Monday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on Monday, Jan. 6, just after 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a dead dog in the 1100 block of 19th St.
At the scene, officers were told that the sidewalk may have shocked the dog. The police department notified the Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco) to further investigate the issue.
