ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man is facing charges for allegedly shooting at a vehicle in Greece.
On November 23, 2024, Greece police responded to Andover Street for reports of around four-to-six gunshots. They spoke with a witness who heard the gunfire and seeing a suspect near Bonesteel Street.
Officers said they obtained footage of the suspect, 23-year-old Ismael Matos, shooting at a vehicle before running out of the camera's view. The investigation revealed a victim was targeted and a vehicle was hit by gunfire. But no one was injured.
Matos was arrested on Tuesday and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, and forth-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Greece Town Court and taken to the Monroe County Jail.
