$13m expansion approved for Rochester Riverside Convention Center

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A 13-million-dollar addition has been approved to be made to the Main Street side of the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
As part of the ROC the Riverway project, the 1,650 square foot expansion will include a smaller, modern event space, a glass front looking over Main Street, an exterior LED display, additional bathrooms, and new doors and repairs to the convention center panels.
The south terrace steps will also be knocked down and transformed into a ramp.
Construction to begin soon on Rochester Riverside Convention Center
The Center says on its website that scheduled events will not be disrupted. Work is expected to be done in 2026.
