WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Creekstone Farms is holding a job fair today for Tyson workers. It comes a month after Tyson Fresh Meats announced that it would close the Emporia plant in February, which impacts 800 workers. The Creekstone job fair will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 215 W. 6th Ave, Suite 107, in Emporia. The company says the jobs provide "a seamless transition for skilled workers." Creekstone says wages range from $18 to 28.75 an hour, and there is an experience bonus of up to $4,000. The company also provides hotel assistance, rent and mileage reimbursement.
