Vermont lawmakers reelected Burlington Democrat Jill Krowinski as House Speaker in Wednesday, turning back a challenge to her leadership from Rep. Laura Sibilia (I-Dover). Krowinski won by 111 votes to Sibilia’s 35. The vote was the first order of business as the House reconvened for a new biennium.
