The City has rescheduled solid waste collection missed earlier this week because of the weather. Garbage collection regularly scheduled for Monday will be picked up this Thursday, January 9. Residents with regular Thursday pickup will also be collected on January 9. Waste collection regularly scheduled for Tuesday will be picked up this Friday, January 10. Residents with regular Friday pickup will also be collected on January 10. Everyone is encouraged to put their trash cart out the night before their collection day, as trucks will be operating a double route, and may start earlier in the morning. There will be no recycling or yard waste collection this week. Additionally, businesses with dumpsters that are emptied Mondays or Tuesdays will be serviced on Thursday, January 9, or Friday, January 10, depending on the accessibility of the dumpster. Businesses are encouraged to clear snow in front of dumpster enclosures, and make sure locks are not frozen.
