Mail delivery suspended on Thursday to honor late President Carter

INDIANAPOLIS — Regular mail delivery with the United States Postal Service will be suspended on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, in observance of the national day of mourning for former President Jimmy Carter.
The USPS will provide limited package delivery service on that day.
Normal retail, delivery, and collection schedules will resume on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025.
