Roy Carroll, prominent Greensboro developer and president and CEO of The Carroll Companies, has multiple major developments in the works that could make 2025 quite interesting. Triad Business Journal reported at the end of August that Carroll was finalizing details on his Parkside development, which will wrap around the city-financed Eugene Street Parking Deck. The anchor of the project will be a 159-room and 9-story AC Hotel that will include a lobby bar and a rooftop restaurant called The Bristol. Carroll is also planning The Madison, a new multifamily project to be built on 60 acres at 2000 and 2014 Fleming Road. Carroll told TBJ at the time that the development would consist of 480 apartments and 280 townhomes and have a construction budget of $210 million.
