Wisconsin man arrested for alleged 5th OWI offense after being treated for crash injuries

VIROQUA, Wis. (WFRV) - The Vernon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash incident that occurred on January 2 around 9 p.m.
According to a release, 34-year-old Mitchell Moore of Viroqua was driving a 1999 Ford pickup truck and subsequently hit a tree while going straight through a T intersection.

The incident occurred at the intersection of County Road NN and Getter Road in Viroqua.
Moore was injured and taken to a local medical center before being released. He was not wearing a seatbelt, though the airbags were used.

While the investigation continued, Moore was later arrested for a fifth offense of OWI and is set for a court date on February 4 at 8:30 a.m.
