BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- A Louisiana-based sports bar and grill is set to open this spring in Baton Rouge near College Drive. Loft18 is a unique sports bar grill offering sports simulation games and a full-service restaurant. The Baton Rouge location is slated to open in early May 2025 after Drago's Seafood Restaurant was bought out of its current lease. According to its website, the Baton Rouge location will have six Full Swing Golf simulation bays, high top and booth seating and a VIP suite for hosting events. Other simulation games offered are darts, skeeball, baseball pitching, carnival games and more. Partner Ty Duet said people from all walks of life are invited to play games and experience "top-notch" hospitality. The customer demographic ranges from young families to corporate businesses to college students. Loft18 has existing locations in Metairie, Mandeville and Houston and plans to expand to Broussard and Lafayette.
