Ben Affleck fled to ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home as the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles’ star-studded Pacific Palisades neighborhood forced the Oscar winner to evacuate his home. It’s unclear whether the “Gone Girl” star went to take shelter at the home of Garner or to check on the former couple’s three children, as TMZ reports. Together, the exes, both 52, are parents to Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12. The evacuation comes on the heels of Affleck settling his divorce from Jennifer Lopez on Monday. The Bronx native, 55, filed to divorce the “Good Will Hunting” star and scribe in August, on their would-be second wedding anniversary. A judge is scheduled to approve the settlement next month, officially closing the chapter on Bennifer 2.0. Though the A-listers have agreed to not request spousal support from either party, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer plans to keep her 8.5-carat diamond engagement ring, according to the court documents obtained by People. At least 30,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate. “The Hills” alumni Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were able to safely evacuate with their family but lost their home to the devastating fires, which started around 10:30 a.m. local time Tuesday. Steve Guttenberg, of “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby” fame, is working to help fire crews by helping move cars emergency vehicles can get through. “If you leave your car behind, leave the key in there so a guy like me can move your car so that these fire trucks can get up there,” the Brooklyn-born “It Takes Two” star, 66, told KTLA.
