WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — West Greenwich police announced they will be providing an update Wednesday morning after four people were found dead inside a home last week. The press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. and will be streamed right here on WPRI.com. Officers went to the Cheyenne Trail home to perform a well-being check late Friday morning. Police Chief Richard Ramsay said the department received a call from the coworker of a woman who lives there, saying she had not shown up to work the past couple of days. The victims all appeared to have been shot, according to Ramsay. He said it was one of the worst crime scenes in his 35-year law enforcement career. While the suspects have not yet been identified, neighbors told 12 News that a mother, father, and two young children lived at the home. The investigation is contained to the home, Ramsay said, and there is no threat to the community. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now Daily Roundup SIGN UP NOW
