Born in Caracas, Alirio Torrealba began his professional journey in the automotive industry, representing global brands like Ford and Kia with a career spanning over 25 years. But his entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to a new chapter in Miami, where he transitioned into real estate development as the CEO of MG Developer.  Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Coral Gables, MG Developer has become one of the city’s most active developers, reshaping the local landscape with luxury residential projects rooted in design and architectural excellence. Under Mr. Torrealba’s leadership, MG Developer has transformed parcels of land into vibrant communities, blending the elegance of Spanish colonial architecture with the modern standards of luxury living. His company’s commitment to quality and community impact extends beyond construction, as seen in philanthropic initiatives through the MG Foundation, launched in 2023 to support local causes in arts, education, and medical relief. Among its notable efforts is a $2 million donation to Baptist Health Doctors Hospital to modernize its emergency room and enhance patient care.  With a passion for honoring George Merrick’s vision for Coral Gables, Mr. Torrealba is at the helm of transformative projects like The George and The Village at Coral Gables, which aim to preserve the city’s heritage while embracing its future. His dedication to the arts, education and healthcare further underscores his role as a community leader, earning accolades such as Business Leader of the Year by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
