Cold and windy weather continues, watching the weekend
Jan 07, 2025
Another frigid couple of days are in store for Southern New England.
Lows will drop well down into the teens again tonight, with single-digit wind chills making for a bitter start to Tuesday.
Highs the next two days won’t make it above freezing, and with the gusty north wind you can expect to feel much colder than that! The weather otherwise remains quiet through Friday.
Winds will relax a bit into Friday and temperatures will finally push above freezing.
We are continuing to monitor the potential for snow on Saturday. A storm will develop down in Texas and will then track east over the Mississippi Valley and into the Carolinas.
Right now, if you like snow, the trend has not been your friend. Some snow is possible, but not a major snow. That could change as we head into Wednesday, so stay tuned to ABC6 weather!
