Dangerous wind chill, snow showers Your 9Day Forecast
Jan 07, 2025
It's hard to believe we made it to 46 today because the gusty winds dropped the wind chilly into the mid 30s. Our peak wind gust was 23 mph out of the east, but the gusts were much stronger on the west slopes of the mountain. Here's your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Wednesday with your detailed forecast below. I have also included a special graphic from the National Weather Service office in Santa Teresa, emphasizing the bitter cold temperatures.
TONIGHT: KTSM has issued a Weather Authority Alert for a significant and sustained drop in temperatures as well as snow showers starting tonight. The skies will be overcast with cold wind gusts from the NE at 15-35 mph, stronger on the west slopes. We'll have a slight chance of a wintry mix of rain/snow flurries before midnight. After midnight, we'll have a chance of light snow showers. The low will drop to 26.
