EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Five people in Canutillo were displaced after a fire burned and spread to several structures on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 7. The fire started in a mobile home at La Union and 4th in Canutillo and spread to a nearby two-story apartment complex, said Bill Adler, fire chief with West Valley Fire. The fire took about an hour to get under control, Adler said. No injuries were reported. The county fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. West Valley Fire was first on the scene but they got assistance from Dona Ana Fire Rescue and Sunland Park Fire.
