Law enforcement agencies in Baton Rouge arrest 3 men after shooting; search for suspect in Shelley Street deadly shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office arrested a group connected to an attempted first-degree murder on Woodlawn Acres Avenue.
Meanwhile, Baton Rouge Police is searching for the person responsible for a deadly shooting on Shelley Street.
Police said a car that crashed into a tree on Jan. 6 led to the arrest of three people who were wanted after a shootout on Woodlawn Acres Avenue.On Jan. 3, EBRSO said two men shot at a home on Woodlawn Acres, and one person fired shots from inside the home, with bullets hitting two nearby vehicles.
Deputies were granted a search warrant for a home on Five Forks Avenue on Jan. 6, which led to a vehicle fleeing the area.
According to the sheriff's office, they chased the car until it crashed nearby on Port Hudson Drive and Dylan Brownware, Kevin Davis, and Ken Davis exited the vehicle.
Deputies said they captured the three armed men. The trio faces many serious charges.
Brownware and Davis are charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The Baton Rouge Police Department is still trying to figure out who shot and killed 30-year-old Leonard Browder.
Police said Browder was found in a field after crashing his car on Shelley Street on Jan. 6. He died after being taken to the hospital.
