What We’re Tracking
Another frigid night
Snow showers for southern areas Friday morning
Moderating temperatures by the weekend
Even with some melting today from the sun, any water on untreated roadways will refreeze overnight as overnight lows drop below zero again early Wednesday. You still want to give yourself a little extra time getting back out as slick spots are likely the next few mornings.
A storm system moving to our south Thursday night into early Friday could clip us with some passing areas of light snow, but that should quickly pass by us. The brunt of that storm completely misses our viewing area.
By the weekend, temperatures should be climbing to near or just above freezing for a couple hours each day. Combining that with some sunshine and we will start the slow process of melting some of our snowpack.
