Holyoke Mall secures threeyear loan extension

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Pyramid Management Group, the owner and operator of Holyoke Mall at Ingleside, has successfully secured a three-year loan extension for the property.
The move is expected to pave the way for further investment, ensuring the mall's vitality and continued prominence as a key economic driver in the region.

Stephen J. Congel, CEO of Pyramid Management Group, emphasized the importance of the extension in maintaining the mall's standing.
"The resilience and strength of our shopping centers, along with Pyramid’s efforts to reimagine and enhance the guest experience, enabled us to successfully restructure and extend the loan," Congel said. "We remain committed to ensuring the health, vibrancy, and longevity of the center for decades to come."
Holyoke Mall has served as the leading enclosed shopping center in Western Massachusetts for over 45 years. With anchor stores such as Macy’s, JCPenney, Target, Hobby Lobby, and Best Buy, the mall continues to attract shoppers from a vast trade area spanning western Massachusetts, southern Vermont, northern Connecticut, and eastern New York.
Spanning 1.6 million square feet, Holyoke Mall is not only a hub for shopping and leisure, but also a significant source of employment. The mall supports more than 3,000 jobs across its operations and tenants, making it a cornerstone of the local economy.
By reinvesting in the mall, Pyramid aims to enhance the shopping experience while sustaining its economic contributions to the region.
