Pittsfield, MASS. (WWLP) - Downtown Pittsfield has gained a new community space with the grand opening of WANDER Berkshires, a recovery-focused cafe that encourages creativity and inclusivity. PETA accepts invitation to visit UMass Amherst monkey lab To commemorate the opening of this queer and transgender-owned new business, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony is being held on January 21 at 10:00 a.m. at 34 Depot Street. Mayor Peter M. Marchetti and Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. will be in attendance to welcome WANDER to the Pittsfield business community. Founded by Jay Santangelo, WANDER serves locally roasted coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages, as well as baked goods. Combining a cozy eatery with a creative outlet, WANDER also offers the first-ever photography darkroom in the Berkshires, allowing new opportunities for community members to express themselves in unique ways.
