PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Petersburg City Council elected the city's mayor and vice mayor during a meeting Tuesday afternoon. Council members held an organizational meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7, to select the city's mayor and vice mayor. Petersburg Mayor Sam Parham [right] and Vice Mayor Darrin Hill [left]. Darrin Hill, a council member since 2015, was elected as vice mayor. This will be his second term in the role.
