BERKLEY, Mass. (WLNE) — The Berkley Police Department said one man has been charged with larceny after an investigation into missing funds.
Over the past several months, Berkley police said it devoted “significant time and effort” with the Bristol County’s District Attorney’s Office into the investigation.
The two convened a grand jury in the fall, and indicted Joseph Phillips on three counts of larceny over $1,200.
On Jan. 7, Phillips was arraigned at Fall River Superior Court.
The Berkley Athletic Association and Granite Telecommunications were the victims of the missing funds, according to police.
