SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) — A Pawtucket man is being held without bail for a parole violation after prosecutors say he broke into two homes in two days.
At his arraignment at Kent County Court Tuesday, prosecutors said 58-year-old Dennis Dussault is the man in the photos of a break-in suspect put out by Smithfield Police.
Smithfield Police said Dussault attempted to break into a home off of Ridge Road in Smithfield near the North Providence town line Monday morning, but was stopped by the homeowner.

Then on Tuesday, prosecutors said Lincoln Police were called to Dussault's brother's house after a report of another break-in.
"This defendant's brother stated that he suspected his brother of breaking into [his] house after he found his garage door broken into," prosecutors said.
The prosecutor then said Dussault's brother was able to recognize Dussault from Smithfield Police's photos.
Prosecutors said Smithfield and Lincoln Police found Dussault in Pawtucket shortly after.
"Detectives located Mr. Dussault's vehicle," the prosecutor said. "They made contact in a hotel room. Then located items that were allegedly stollen from the brother, including $1,800 cash."
Dussault is expected to be back in court for a status conference hearing Jan. 14.
