PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — "Life of Pi," the Tony Award-winning show about a boy who gets shipwrecked with four zoo animals, is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) next month, and there's a way for theatergoers to support their real-life counterparts. PPAC announced that starting Monday, Jan. 6, patrons can save $20 per ticket by using the code MASAI. For each ticket purchased using that code, the theater will donate $3 to Roger Williams Park Zoo. The discount is available for Orchestra, First Dress Circle and Second Dress Circle seating at all performances, according to PPAC. VIP and Golden Circle are excluded. The code can be used at the box office on Weybosset Street, on PPAC's website, and over the phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787). The show is recommended for ages 10 and up.
