Japanese Breakfast's new album aims to capture the 'romantic thrill of a gothic novel'

Japanese Breakfast, the indie band founded by Michelle Zauner in Philadelphia, is releasing its fourth album, 'For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women),' on March 21. The band also will play a homecoming show May 16 at the Met Philadelphia. The new album, which contains 10 tracks, is the band's first since 'Jubilee' in 2021.
