LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky guard Georgia Amoore was named the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week, along with SEC Player of the Week on Tuesday. The All-American point guard helped the cats to a 91-69 win over Mississippi State on Thursday, where she had 27 points and nine assists. She also tallied 24 points and nine assists against Vanderbilt on Sunday, marking her sixth straight 20+ point game. The cats are currently 2-0 in conference play.
