KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Hundreds of city and state workers are grabbing their shovels and plows this week in an effort to clear out the snow and ice blanketing the Kansas City metro. Since early last week, public workers have been preparing to scrape and plow roadways and help people get back to their normal lives.
