Officers maintained surveillance for hours and gathered enough evidence to apply for a search warrant, which was granted.
Early Tuesday morning, the Monroe County Combined Tactical Unit executed the warrant and found several individuals inside the residence.
Information suggested Hintz was inside the home, but he refused to cooperate. Officers systematically cleared the structure and eventually located Hintz hiding in a crawl space. He was taken into custody without incident.
