ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) - Fire crews are still on the scene of a house fire that occurred around noon in Ashwaubenon in the 2000 block of Patty Lane near Lambeau Field. Multiple departments responded, including Ashwaubenon Public Safety. Victim identified as 86-year-old in fatal house fire in Marinette County Commander Tomas Baxter said the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department arrived on the scene shortly after dispatch. "Crews were dispatched around noon for a garage with smoke and flames showing," Commander Baxter said. "It took us about 45 minutes to get everything under control." Commander Baxter said that crews are still working to ensure no hotspots remain. People were reportedly in the residence when it was first reported, they had evacuated on time with no injuries.
