Well, never fear, Cupid’s Undie Run is nearly here!That’s right, Baltimore, it’s time to band together and slip into high gear to find a cure for NF – a group of genetic conditions that includes all types of neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis. NF causes tumors to grow on nerves and occurs in approximately one in every 2,000 births.Cupid’s Undie Run helps raise funds for Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF), which is a leader in this field of research. CTF’s research has led to the first FDA-approved drug for NF and other treatment submitted to the FDA this year.This year’s Cupid’s Undie Run takes place on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The run begins at 2 p.m. The entire event kicks off with drinking and dancing, then a jog that’s about a mile long, and then more dancing after the jog is over. After all – participants are going to need to warm up! They can’t just bum around all day!The fun takes place at The Admiral’s Cup in Fells Point, though if a participant chooses to wear a cup, they should bring their own, as word has it the Admiral will not be sharing theirs.As for what constitutes acceptable attire, participants are free to strip down to their unmentionables, as long as they don’t stretch the limits of propriety too much.
