The Lake County Special Needs Birthday Club will be hosting three Valentine’s Day celebrations this year, and organizers are seeking assistance from the community with Valentine’s Day cards. The celebrations will be for the Memory Care Unit at Legacy of Mentor,12 cards needed; Breckenridge Memory Care Unit, 12 cards; and Deepwood, 36 cards; according to a news report. Organizers are also looking for treats, cookies, goodies, and small Valentine’s related gifts. The Birthday Club will be accompanied by Snoopy at the celebrations. The Lake County Birthday Club started in 2021 and has since celebrated over 160 free birthdays throughout the county, the release stated.
