EMPORIA (KSNT) - Emporia Public Schools announced on Monday that school would be closed for an extended period due to wintery weather. Emporia Public schools shared on social media that all classes and student activities had been cancelled and that no meals will be served on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The school asked staff who could make it into work to do so safely. "We will keep you updated if additional schedule changes are needed," Emporia Public Schools wrote on social media.
