Henrico County water issues affecting residents, Richmond International Airport

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County announced Tuesday morning that the Department of Public Utilities is currently working to fix the limited water pressure recently reported by Henrico residents.
A release was sent out by Henrico County on Tuesday, Jan. 7, detailing how Henrico water customers in the Sandston and White Oak area are being impacted most by the water pressure issues, ranging from limited pressure to none at all.
The change in pressure is a result of a rapid rerouting of water services from the City of Richmond's water facility Monday afternoon, as well as a water main break that is reducing pressure, according to the department.

As of the time of reporting, the department said they expect the water pressure to be fixed by this afternoon.
Related to these water issues, Richmond International Airport has also reported that they are currently experiencing a water outage and "hopes to soon have news about a restoration of services."
Henrico also said that the Department of Public Utilities is helping to provide resources to the City of Richmond as they continue to work on the city's water outage.
