MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Thanks to the generous people of the Mid-South, over $700,000 was raised for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas campaign. WREG teamed up with The Salvation Army for their Red Kettle Campaign during the month of December. With your help, a total amount of $775,524 was raised. The money will go directly to the Purdue Center of Hope to help break the cycle of generational poverty and house homeless women and children in Memphis and the Mid-South.  You can still donate to the Salvation Army of Memphis and the Mid-South by clicking here.
